4th Space, the Faculty of Fine Arts (FOFA) and Concordia International will host an information session and showcase of international fine arts field schools held over the past two summers.

This event is open to all students interested in attending a field school or any faculty member interested in leading a field school. Held at 4th Space, this event is an opportunity for you to listen to and talk with faculty and students (undergraduate and graduate) from a variety of departments, who participated in summer field schools in Iceland, Denmark, Mexico, Columbia, and the U.S.

Summer Field Schools allow students to travel, learn and earn credits in another country under the supervision of a FOFA faculty member. More than study trips, these are intensive, place-based studios and carefully structured courses in collaboration with the FOFA and Concordia International. Students can enroll in them through the Faculty as they would any regular course. Field schools bring students into landscapes, urban fabrics and lives of others across the globe.

Attend in person (note, we can accommodate up to 30 audience members comfortably in the space) or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
