In our fast-moving world, persuasion isn’t just a communication skill, it’s a critical competency for academic, professional and personal success. This dynamic, hands-on workshop provides practical tools and proven techniques to help you influence, inspire, and motivate others with confidence and integrity.

Whether you are leading a group project, giving a class presentation, navigating tough conversations, or selling yourself in a job interview, you will learn how to build credibility, tailor your message to your audience, and communicate in a way that drives positive action, without pressure or manipulation. Through engaging exercises, real-life scenarios, and group interaction, you will leave with the skills and confidence to apply persuasive communication effectively in any setting.

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Define the key elements of persuasive communication.
  • Discuss the psychology behind what makes communication persuasive.
  • Identify common persuasive techniques and evaluate when and how to use them effectively.
  • Analyze target audiences to tailor messages that align with their motivations, core values, interests, concerns, and decision-making styles.
  • Structure persuasive messages using proven frameworks.
  • Respond to objections and resistance with confidence and empathy.
  • Practice delivering persuasive messages authentically, clearly, and confidently.

Facilitator: Rosalia Felice, Communications Specialist, Learning & Development Professional, Public Speaking Champion & Career Strategist
