Set in past and present South Africa, “Milisuthando” is a poetic coming-of-age personal essay documentary on love and what it means to become human in the context of race, explored through the memories of Milisuthando – who grew up during apartheid but didn’t know it was happening until it was over.

EVENT DETAILS

This event is co-presented by Brick by Brick, the Black Healing Centre and Black Mental Health Connections Montreal.

Admission is by donation ($5-10 suggested). The venue is wheelchair accessible. In order to prevent the spreading of COVID 19, wearing a mask at Cinema Politica Concordia events is strongly recommended.
