The Concordia Research and Education for Athletic Therapy Excellence (CREATE) Conference is the only academic oriented event in Canada specifically designed to host both professional and student researchers to disseminate their knowledge creation and network among peers in the field of athletic therapy.

At the CREATE conference, graduate, undergraduate, faculty, and keynote speakers from North America will share innovative research, network, to enhance the knowledge on musculoskeletal injuries.

CREATE serves as a venue for students to share and discuss their research through podium presentations, poster sessions and practical workshops aimed at bringing “research to reality,” and extend professional networks through social events.

This year, the invited keynote speakers are Dr. Thomas Kaminski (University of Delaware) and Dr. Erik Wikstrom (University of North Carolina).

Dr. Kaminski will talk about the latest concussion research and Dr. Wikstrom will present on the latest research regarding chronic ankle instability.

Students or researchers in athletic therapy and physiotherapy (physical therapy) are welcomed to submit a research abstract to give a presentation or present a poster. Please use the link provided to submit your abstracts. This event is free to attend, and food will be provided for attendees.
