The Recovery and Wellness Community Centre is hosting a free, virtual, guided meditation session.
Being a student can be stressful enough, but navigating student life during a long running pandemic can be downright overwhelming. It's not uncommon to turn to substance use to help cope with our stress, but that might not be a healthy or welcome option for everyone.
Meditation is one way that we can manage our stress when things feel overwhelming, and guided meditation is a great way to get started. RAWCC peer facilitators will invite us to look inward, and take us on a journey to connect with ourselves.

The Recovery and Wellness Community Centre is a peer-led resource centre for people in recovery, who have lived experience of addiction, or who are just looking to have a healthier relationship with alcohol and substance use.
