Who: The panel will feature four guest speakers and be moderated by Fenwick McKelvey, a Communications and Journalism Studies professor at Concordia University. The four guest speakers are: Jeff Yates, a journalist at Métro Montreal and Radio-Canada, Camille Lopez, also a journalist at Métro Montreal, Eve Beaudin, a journalist and specialist in fake news as well as Greg Nielsen, professor of Sociology and Anthropology and co-Director of the Concordia Centre for Broadcasting studies.

The panel "Is Fake News Threatening our Democracy?" will address this question and discuss the impact fake news has on our society when it influences public opinion.
