“Certain Individual Women,” by filmmaker Alisha Doody is a collaborative performance film focusing on Dr. Julie Morrissy's project on inherent gender inequality in Irish society that brings together powerful connections between family legacy, personal experience, and the law through the mediums of poetry, film, moving image, and animation. 

This is an event sponsored by the Ireland Canada University Foundation D'Arcy McGee Beacon Fellowship, featuring Concordia's Beacon Fellow for 2021, Dr. Julie Anne Rodgers in conversation with Dr. Julie Morrissy.

Moderated by Dr. Jane McGaughey, Johnson Chair in Quebec and Canadian Irish Studies, School of Irish Studies, Concordia University.

This event will be simulcast from Ireland, Montreal, and Notre Dame, Indiana.
