Speed Learning Series: Social Impact is going to occur from 6pm to 9pm at Espace CDPQ in collaboration with Women in Blockchain and Bonjour Startup Montreal. We are also very grateful for the support of Finance Montreal and Espace CDPQ.

A blockchain is, in the simplest of terms, a time-stamped series of immutable record of data that is managed by cluster of computers not owned by any single entity. Each of these blocks of data (i.e. block) are secured and bound to each other using cryptographic principles (i.e. chain). So, what is so special about it and how can it bring a considerable added-value to social impact?

This is why we’re delighted to welcome you on Thursday the 2nd of May to discover and discuss opportunities in blockchain. Ashee Sarin will open the conversation with a short introduction on this technology and its ecosystem in Montreal. Koleya Karrington, Louis Cleroux and Justyna Osowska will then share their experience through concrete applications.

Join us for an evening of new connections between interesting people and transformative ideas.
