Stinger Dome
From November to April, Concordia's De Maisonneuve field on the Loyola Campus is covered by an air-supported structure and transformed into the Stinger Dome. The facility hosts intramural and recreational sports, camps, tournaments and more.
Activities
The Stinger Dome accommodates a range of sports and recreational programs, including:
- Soccer (official and intramural leagues)
- Ultimate
- Rugby
- Touch and flag football
Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Field dimensions:
- Overall: 137m x 76m (450ft x 240ft)
- Configurable into 4 "mini-fields" of 30m x 55m (98ft x 180ft) each
- Flexible setup allows for 1/4 field, 1/2 field, 3/4 field or full-field play
Each 1/4 field or mini-field is ideal for 6-7 aside sports.
Full field is used for official soccer matches.
Rental rate:
- $250/hour per 1/4 field
- Taxes not included. Available from November to April.
