The athletics complex (RA) on Concordia's Loyola campus houses our hockey arena, stadium, gymnasium, outdoor playing fields and Stinger Dome.
The Ed Meagher Arena is home to Stingers ice hockey, intramurals and community programs. It meets NHL standards.
At the Concordia gym you can find a pick-up game or join in on some intramural league action: Basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, badminton and more, we got you covered!
The rental of the gymnasium is for the use of the space for basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball or badminton. Other accessories are not included. Floor hockey/Hockey Cosom or inline skating is not allowed in our gym.
Get on pitch and play! There are two large playing fields at Loyola: Sherbooke field (seen above) houses the stadium where our Stingers play, and De Maisonneuve field beside it becomes the Stinger Dome in the winter months.
Our ¼ fields, or “mini-fields” are ideal for 6 or 7 aside sports.
Sherbrooke field: Contains permanent (fixed) football uprights. Access to 4 smaller 6.5′ x 18.5′ (approx.) soccer training goals and 2 standard 8’ x 24’ game soccer goals.
De Maisonneuve field: Contains 2 permanent (fixed) 8’ x 24’ game soccer goals and access to 4 smaller 6.5′ x 18.5′ (approx.) soccer training goals
