Undergraduate programs

More than mere facts, history is a dynamic discipline built on analysis, debate and interpretation. Studying history, you will examine humanity through events, culture and context.

From the start, undergraduate students are exposed to a variety of themes and topics across global history, especially in the HIST 200 seminars. This provides students with the foundational skills, such as critical thinking, to be successful in any field.

In addition to courses, students have a wealth of activities and affiliations to explore, including active student associations and innovative research around public history.

The History program offers multiple bachelor degree options.
