Our alumni
Over the years our department has produced many accomplished graduates who today work as researchers, educators, environmental impact assessment experts, project managers, urban planners and design consultants, and more. Meet a few of our recent alumni who've made positive impacts in various fields and learn where they are now.

Manon Raby-Natsuaki
With an interest in anthropology, sustainability and socio-environmental education, Manon says of her time at Concordia that, "...I was privileged enough to learn from passionate professors and to be part of a bright cohort of students who all made me feel supported throughout my experience."

Simon Lizotte
Following his undergraduate degree, Simon decided to pursue the Master of Environmental Assessment program. Although he didn’t know what to expect at first, he stated, “I quickly felt welcome in the program, with our small cohort bonding over our shared interests, both in and out of the classroom.”

Tanya Hage-Moussa
With a strong interest in the environment, Tanya’s experience at Concordia gave her the analytical, research and writing skills needed to succeed. She described the faculty in her graduate program as, “…superbly qualified, very passionate about the work they do and show great care for their students.”

Claudia Schiocchet
After encountering hurdles in finding work within the environmental sector, Claudia decided to complete a master's degree at Concordia. The program, “…far exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of learning and the vibrant discussions…I found myself well-prepared for the workforce.”

Oriana Meek-Sauriol
Oriana always had the preservation of the environment at heart. That’s why to achieve her goals she chose to pursue graduate studies in our department. Of her experience she states, “The teachers were all extremely passionate about their subject matter, and I truly enjoyed all the courses I had to take during the program.”

Charla Patterson
After working in health research, Charla wanted to change her career focus to the environment. The mentorship she found in the GPE department, "...helped me gain proficiency in the areas where I wanted to focus. Small classrooms, passionate professors and hands-on learning experiences provided me with both practical and theoretical knowledge for a career in EIA”
