Zero Waste Event Services

Congratulations! You found our awesome website and you are one step closer to hosting a zero waste event and helping us reach our zero waste mission.
Our services are FREE for all on campus events.
We offer more than just reusable dishware. Here's what we provide:
  • Reusable dishware
  • Waste bin set-ups (including compost and recycling)
  • Custom signage for bins that reflect the waste generated at your events
  • Volunteers to help your guests sort waste
  • Consultation on the packaging and merch provided at your event
  • Surplus food donation to local shelters

Here's how it works:

  1. Fill out the Zero Waste Event Services form with details about your event and your needs.
  2. If you've requested reusable dishware, you will be taken to our Dish Project Request page on Booqable to specify which items you would like, and pick-up and return times.
  3. If you are not ready to select dishware yet, you can always go back to the form using this link.
  4. You'll receive an email indicating that we have your order. We'll get back to you within 3 business days to confirm your request.

Get Involved

Being an on-call volunteer means you are informed about various opportunities to lend a hand, whether that's helping guests at events sort waste, setting up waste bins on campus, conducting a waste audit, or spreading the word about zero waste practices. This is a no-pressure commitment and a great way to dip your toes in the water! Sign-up on our form and join our Teams group.
