Research data management consultations are available for Concordia faculty, students and staff.
Members of the Library’s Research Data Management team can provide guidance on:
- Data management plans (DMPs) – Tri-Agency requirements, choosing a DMP template, considerations for each section of a DMP
- Data sharing – choosing a data repository, ethical considerations related to data sharing, preparing data for deposit
- Basic questions related to other aspects of the research data management process
- For example:
- best practices in file naming, file organization, and data documentation
- suggestion of tools that can be used for data cleaning and anonymization
- For example:
Members of the Library’s Research Data Management team are not responsible for:
- Writing a Data Management Plan for your research project
- Preparation of in-depth data management solutions for your research data
- Data security solutions
- Analyzing your data
- Cleaning or tidying your data
- Deidentifying or anonymizing your data
- Depositing your data in a repository
