Microsoft 365 for students

Active Concordia students have access to Microsoft 365 Education, a cloud-based collection of applications and services for academic work and communication.

With Microsoft 365, you can complete assignments, organize your files, communicate with your professors and Concordia units, and collaborate easily with other students. Because it’s cloud-based, you can access your work from most devices, whether you’re on or off campus.

You can use the online versions directly in your browser on a computer or mobile device. You also have the option to download the full applications to your devices.  Your subscription allows you to install Microsoft 365 on up to five computers and five mobile devices at no cost, and includes 1 TB of OneDrive storage.

The services are available for free and include:

  • Outlook: Manage your Concordia email, calendar, and contacts.
  • Teams: Chat with your instructor and classmates, participate in group discussions, and attend virtual meetings or classes.
  • Word:  Write essays, reports, and assignments.
  • Excel: Organize and analyze data, create charts, and manage budgets or research data.
  • PowerPoint: Create presentations for class projects and seminars.
  • OneNote: Take and organize notes and keep course materials in one place.
  • OneDrive: Store, access, and share files securely online.
