Dr. M. N. S. Swamy is the recipient of the prestigious 2025 IEEE Canada AGL McNaughton Award. This is the highest award given by IEEE Canada to outstanding Canadian engineers who are recognized for their exemplary contributions to the engineering profession.

Dr. Prag Pillay and his team have been awarded the IEEE IES Electrical Machines Best Paper Award at IECON 2024 for their paper, "Design of Iron-Nitride-Based Permanent Magnet Variable Flux Motors."
Dr. Shahin Hashtrudi Zad is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Gina Cody School Award for Leadership and Innovation in Teaching.
Dr. Hassan Rivaz has been awarded the FRQNT team grant.
Dr. Bahareh Goodarzi is the recipient of the 2024–25 Concordia President’s Excellence in Teaching Award (PETA).
Ms. Oumaima Barhoumi, a graduate student working under the supervision of Dr. Sofiene Tahar, is the recipient of the First Prize Award at a national competition held during the 14th edition of the "Journée de l’innovation ReSMiQ (JIR)." Barhoumi's innovative work on the formal analysis of transportation safety was ranked first among 24 selected graduate projects from 10 Quebec universities.
