Employee Benefits Committee and Pension Committee seek new members
Now is your opportunity to get involved. The Electoral College is currently accepting nominations of Concordia’s administrative and support staff to fill two positions, one each on the Employee Benefits Committee and the Pension Committee.
The term of appointment will be for two (2) years.
For information about the mandate and composition of the Employee Benefits Committee, read the Mandates of the Standing Committees of the Board of Governors. For information about the Pension Committee, please see section 14 of the Pension Plan for Employees of Concordia University.
Eligibility and procedure
The candidates, nominators and all endorsers must be:
- Members of Concordia's administrative and support staff
- Permanent, active employees (please note that administrative and support staff may not be on leave during their service)
- Full- or part-time employees
Candidates must submit:
- The nomination form
- A pen sketch form that includes information about why they are interested in serving on the Evaluation Committee
The nomination form must be:
- Signed by the candidate
- Signed by the nominator
- Endorsed by five additional administrative and support staff members (see above)
Deadline to submit nominations is Friday, October 11, 2024
Submit nominations and pen sketch forms to the attention of Carolina Willsher, Associate Vice-President of Human Resources, by email at officeoftheavphr@concordia.ca no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Interview
If the Electoral College needs more information from a candidate, an interview will be scheduled during its next meeting on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
