Tagging instructions for Orientation events

We aim to feature and promote all Orientation/welcome-related events on the PREPARE web page, so students can easily see the range in activities open to them.

Follow those steps to make sure your event is tagged to appear properly:

Step 1: Choose the appropriate format

If your event is part of a series, use the parent/child format. If your event is happening more than once, make sure you note other occurrences in the “Other dates” field.   

Step 2: Use the template

Use the AEM Orientation event template - copy and paste it to your own unit nested folder. Add your own unit/contact info and a photo related to your event. 

Step 3: Leverage faceted search

The PREPARE page uses faceted search, which means users can filter by specific criteria. Before you publish your event, please follow these instructions on how to tag events for faceted search.
