Dear colleagues,

In the first few days since the university’s closure, I am deeply appreciative of the generosity and cooperation that the research community has shown each other. The stress and difficulty of the COVID-19 emergency is something we all face, and I want to reassure you that my team and I are here to help you navigate the evolving situation.

Our first priority is the health and safety of our entire community. Aligned with universities across Canada, we are closely following the directives of public health agencies and the government. Our staff members are working from home and fully operational in responding to the needs of our researchers moving forward.

In these extraordinary circumstances, we are aware of the challenges and disruptions to research programs. Even with everyone’s best efforts, we know that researchers, graduate students and postdocs will lose time, data and momentum. Please be assured that we are taking steps to mitigate these impacts and minimize damage to our research agenda.

We will continue to communicate with you as new information becomes available, however for the most up-to-date information, please refer to Concordia’s COVID-19 information page.

For general research-related questions, please reach out to us by emailing curesearch@concordia.ca.

We are here and ready to help.

Sincerely,

Paula Wood-Adams
Interim Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies
