Shiping Ma, a retired professor in Concordia’s Department of Exercise Science passed away on December 20, 2014.
Ma accepted a job at Concordia in 1990, after earning his PhD in Biomechanics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He was involved in pioneering research on the effects of whole-body vibration, before his retirement in 2012.
A memorial ceremony will take place at the Centre Funéraire Côte-Des-Neiges (Dignité), located at 4525 Ch. De la Cote-des-Neiges, Montreal, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014.
