On August 11, the SIS Renewal Project team and Steering Committee members gathered at the Montefiore building for a working breakfast to regroup and focus on the upcoming testing and training phases for the project’s implementation this fall.

Multidisciplinary teams dove into a consensus-building exercise to highlight the overarching benefits the new system will bring to all users come launch time in January 2015.

Brad Tucker, chair of the SIS Steering Committee and associate vice-president Registrarial Services welcomed the team back from summer holidays and facilitated a collaborative, consensus-building exercise to draw out the overarching benefits all users can expect from the new system come launch time in January 2015.

Until then, a series of project milestones must be met to fully test all system components, validate functionality according to user needs, and deliver training to faculty and staff in preparation for system launch.

Teams share the results of their collaborative thinking and discuss next steps moving into comprehensive whole system testing and training this fall.
