In a new publication, Beyond the Headlines, Concordia presents conversations with six Concordians who are not only making headlines, but are influencing the way we think. We have teamed them up with a community thought-leader to discuss a common topic, creating conversations intended to generate broader discussion and reflection.

This week, we feature Concordia researcher Benjamin Fung and Director of the Electronic Commerce Enforcement Division at the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), Lynne Perrault. During an absorbing investigation of cybercrime, they touch on global security, Canada’s new anti-spam legislation, botnets, phishing and, perhaps most problematic of all, plain old human nature.

Listen to the podcast of the conversation.
