The annual flu shot clinic at Health Services begins November 8. All interested Concordians are invited to make an appointment.

Those who fall into the following categories are eligible for the vaccination free of charge:
•    healthy adults over 60 years of age
•    people with long-term heart or lung problems
•    people with lower resistance to infection because of cancer or other immunological disorders
•    people with a child less than 23 months of age
•    people who live with an individual at risk, especially those confined to their homes
•    health care workers and any other worker or volunteer with frequent contact with people in high-risk groups.

Those who wish to be vaccinated but do not meet the criteria above will be charged $20. Cash is the only accepted form of payment.

To book an appointment, call 514-848-2424, ext. 5276. If leaving a message, please be sure to include the following information:
•    name
•    ID number
•    phone number
•    preferred campus on which to receive the vaccination
•    whether or not the criteria are met for the free vaccine.
