Facilities Management is carrying out electrical maintenance in the Henry F. Hall (H) Building that requires shutting down regular power to the upper floors.

To safely complete this work, a building closure is scheduled from Monday, May 4 at 6 a.m. to Saturday, May 9 at 10 p.m.

During this shutdown:

  • The building will be fully closed, with no access permitted to students, faculty, staff or visitors.
  • Regular power will be unavailable from the fourth floor through the 14th floor.
  • Elevators, lighting, ventilation and other electrical services will be unavailable on affected floors.

All classrooms, study areas, labs, service points and common spaces will be unavailable for the duration of the closure.

Normal operations will resume once power has been restored and all systems have been verified.

Given the Hall Building’s role as a major campus hub, Concordia is making every effort to complete this maintenance as efficiently and safely as possible.
