Posted on May 2, 2018

Kathryn Jezer-Morton is a PhD student in Sociology who researches online communities. She is also the Head of Communications for the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology. Recently, she penned an article for The Conversation titled “Why do we stay on Facebook? It’s complicated” which expertly summarises research and perspectives both within the Milieux Institute and elsewhere around the world about our continued use of the social media platform, even in the face of recent revelations.

This article was widely republished in outlets including The National Post, International Business Times and Gizmodo Australia in addition to a number of smaller papers across Canada.
