Alana des Coeurs, Isabella Matteo and Catherine Richard represented Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business (JMSB) at the Excalibur Tournament in Human Resources, held this year at the Hyatt Regency Montreal. The competition is organized every year by the Ordre des conseillers en resources humaines agréés (CRHA) and is the only competition in Canada organized by practitioners for future professionals.

Twenty-five teams of students, representing universities from across the country, competed in the initial round of the tournament, with only eight advancing to the final round. Teams had three hours to resolve the final case, a complex human resource issue, and then 20 minutes to present their resolutions to the judges. A 10-minute question-and-answer period followed each presentation.

Final Results

  1. École de relations industrielles, Université de Montréal
  2. John Molson School of Business, Concordia University
  3. Wilfred Laurier University
