CART-alum Vincent Leclerc and PixMob make Superbowl halftime show a huge hit
Congratulations CART-alum Vincent Leclerc and whole PixMob team for making the halftime show a huge hit!!!
An estimated 80,000 football fans wearing hats with embedded LED displays and a field covered with 500 LED panels transformed New Jersey's MetLife Stadium into a massive light show. The sparkling effect, witnessed by an estimated television audience of 125 million people, was made possible using PixMob VIDEO from Montreal-based technology company PixMob.
My warmest congratulations to our alum and PT prof Vincent Leclerc, who co-founded PixMob's parent company ESKI with David Parent in 2006.

Vincent Leclerc, one of the first students to graduate from the Computation Arts Major program in 2003 (then called Major in Digital Image/Sound & The Fine Arts) is revolutionizing the world of wearable technologies. His company, PixMob, has outfitted the Olympic Games Opening Ceremonies audience, as well as the Superbowl audience, turning the crowd into a huge video screen!
