Room EV003.309
Abstract
Software Defined Networking (SDN) refers to a network architecture in which the control plane is taken out from network devices and implemented in a centralized software controller, likely running on a commodity hardware (e.g., Intel x86) and commodity operating system (e.g., Linux). This paradigm shift from traditional distributed and closed network architecture has profound impact on network security, introducing both new security threats and opportunities for security improvement. This talk will provide an overview and security analysis of SDN.
