Rethinking Schools: Resisting debt, funding justice

Eleni Schirmer edited a special issue of the radical social justice magazine, Rethinking Schools: "Resisting debt, funding justice: the struggle against debt-financed public education."

As Schirmer writes: “School districts with the fewest resources pay the most to borrow.” Given the underfunding of schools, debt amplifies existing inequalities.
