1. 600 000 thousand people displaced in North Kivu

  • According to OCHA, 600 000 people have been displaced in North Kivu.
  • This is a 16% increase from last year, 78 000 people newly displaced persons have been registered in the last 2 months. 
2. 6 killed, 14 kidnapped by the ADF in Lesse, North Kivu

  • 12 February, Ugandan rebels, ADF, accused of killing 6 civilians and kidnapping 14 after a raid in the village of Lesse in North Kivu.
  • Over 29 houses were also torched, after being looted.
3. Two Raïa Mutomboki rebels killed in Shabunda.

  • 17 February, 2 rebels were killed from the militia army, Raïa Mutomboki in Shabunda.
  • The two rebels are allegedly killed by the Congolese army.
