MIGS Fellow Mark Kersten published a new post on his blog titled “Inching Closer: Could Omar al-Bashir finally be prosecuted by the International Criminal Court?”

In a new article in Forbes titled “The Situation Of Uighur Muslims Will Be Assessed By An Independent Inquiry”, MIGS Fellow Ewelina Ochab writes about what a Uighur Tribunal can do is shed light on atrocities.

MIGS Fellow Ewelina Ochab published a new piece in Forbes titled “NGOs And Faith Leaders Speak Up About The Situation Of The Uighurs.”

12 September

Kyle Matthews was interviewed by Todd van der Heyden on the radio show Viewpoints to discuss Russia’s foreign policy, human rights and digital disinformation campaigns. His interview begins at the 54 minute mark.

MIGS Distinguished Fellow Lt-Gen. Romeo Dallaire and his colleague Shelly Whitman wrote an article in The Star titled “A radical change in how we view humanity.” He is also quoted by Radio-Canada Internationale in an article titled “Prioriser les enfants pour qu’advienne la paix dans le monde.”

Marie Lamensch is quoted in the Journal de Montréal in an article titled “Les complotistes iront ailleurs”.  

11 October

Kyle Matthews was interviewed by CBC News on the ongoing conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Kyle is also quoted in the Vancouver Courier  and La Presse about the conflict.

16 October

MIGS Fellow Fannie Lafontaine was interviewed by Radio-Canada’s Midi Info regarding her Independent Observer Report of the SPVM’s investigations on criminal allegations by Aboriginal people against police officers. She is also quoted in Le DevoirJournal MetroL’ActualiteRadio CanadaGlobal NewsCBC NewsCTV NEWS, and La Presse about the recent publication of her report looking into complaints of law enforcement abuses involving Indigenous people.
