Environmental Health and Well-being course: A new collaboration with the School of Health
The Loyola College for Diversity and Sustainability is grateful to the School of Health for providing for an exciting new cross-disciplinary course, to be offered this coming fall (2026)! Available in person and on Zoom simultaneously to maximize accessibility, Environmental Health and Well-Being (LOYC 498 / CATS 631 / MSCA 652) will explore the interconnection of human and planetary health and well-being, focusing on solutions and mitigation to empower students to envision a healthier future for all. Featuring guest lectures from Katja Neves (Sociology and Anthropology), Heather McLaughlin (Creative Arts Therapies), and more, this course will be taught by Rebecca Tittler on Friday afternoons in the fall.
The course is open to all undergraduate students with 30 credits or more under course code LOYC 498, and to Masters' students as well under CATS 631 or MSCA 652. Please contact the instructor if you have any questions or issues with registration.
