Léa Clermont-Dion has been shortlisted for the prestigious Governor General's Literary Awards for her book, Porter plainte.
The evaluation committees formed by the Canada Council selected 70 books published in Canada in the past year, divided into seven categories and in both official languages. Winners in each category will receive a cash prize of $25,000, and the publishers of the winning books will receive a $3,000 promotional grant.
Founded in 1936, the Governor General's Literary Awards are among Canada's oldest and most prestigious literary awards, with annual prizes totalling $450,000.
