October 5 and 10, 2023, the CSLP was pleased to host two workshops organized by PARR, which were styled as BIPOC Days of sharing and co-creating between Black, Indigenous, and other racialized women and non-binary people who are engaged in collaborative research in Quebec.

Spearheaded by a team of Black and racialized women at Relais-femmes, this "by, for and with" initiative aims to fight for systematic changes in the reserach field and form collective responses to discriminations.
As such, the project seeks to understand the systemic barriers faced by Black and racialized women and non-binary people. It also aims to find realistic solutions and survival strategies to these environments.

Together, those who came to the workshops at the CSLP thought about and exchanged concrete solidary resistance strategies for their survival and thriving in their communities.
The organizers wish to thank everyone who participated in the BIPOC Days, including panelists Amy Edward, Wahéhshon Whitebean, Ella Martindale, Amanda Shawayahamish and Catherine Richardson for speaking and sharing their experiences and learning, and Jessica Quijano and Adama Kaba for their unparalleled entertainment!
Les 5 et 10 octobre 2023, le CEAP a eu le plaisir d'accueillir deux ateliers organisés par PARR, présentés comme deux journées BIPOC de partage et de co-création entre femmes et personnes non-binaires Noires, Autochtones et racisées dans le recherche partenariale au Québec.

Dirigée par une équipe de femmes Noires et racisées de Relais-femmes, cette initiative "par, pour et avec" vise à lutter pour des changements systématiques dans le domaine de la recherche et à formuler des réponses collectives aux discriminations.
Ainsi, le projet cherche à comprendre les barrières systémiques auxquelles sont confrontées les femmes Noires et racisées. Il vise également à trouver des solutions réalistes et des stratégies de survie à ces environnements..

Ensemble, les personnes qui ont participé aux ateliers ont réfléchi et échangé des stratégies concrètes de résistance solidaire pour leur survie et leur épanouissement dans leurs communautés.
Les organisatrices souhaitent remercier tous ceux qui ont participé aux Journées BIPOC, notamment les panélistes Amy Edward, Wahéhshon Whitebean, Ella Martindale, Amanda Shawayahamish et Catherine Richardson pour leurs interventions et le partage de leurs expériences et apprentissages, ainsi que Jessica Quijano et Adama Kaba pour leur divertissement inégalé !
