Being a Public Scholar requires engaging with the community-at-large to share your research or research-creation work and how it impacts our society, and the skills your PhD program has helped you develop. The School of Graduate Studies, through its graduate professional development initiatives, provides a 5-week training program to help you create the foundations of research communication as well as prepare a stronger application to the Public Scholars program.
