Great teams don’t just happen – they’re built. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn to recognize team dynamics, leverage individual strengths and step in strategically when challenges arise. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll practice interventions, facilitation techniques and strategies to help your team succeed. Mastering these skills now not only improves your academic work – it positions you as a collaborative leader in future workplaces, giving you an edge for promotions and higher earning potential.

By participating, you’ll:

  • Identify patterns and dynamics that affect team performance.
  • Learn practical strategies to guide teams through conflict and challenges.
  • Strengthen your ability to collaborate effectively in academic, professional and personal settings.
  • Build a toolkit for leading, supporting and contributing to high-performing teams—even without a formal title.

Facilitators: Andrea Betts, District 3 Innovation Hub, and Zaccary Dyck, Student Success Centre
