This presentation introduces first-to-fourth year engineering students to the role and impact of engineers in Québec, as well as the mission of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) in protecting the public and supporting the profession.
It highlights key industry trends, essential skills, and the importance of ethics, integrity and professional responsibility. Students are also guided through the steps of the Professional Admission Program (PAP) and how to begin their journey toward becoming a certified engineer.
