The Library of Parliament is a non-partisan organization that provides a unique and stimulating work environment. Join us for an unforgettable experience working with people from coast to coast while interpreting the history, architecture, and legislative process of Canada’s Parliament. If you are interested in learning more about Parliament, this is a great opportunity for you!

Parliamentary Guide candidates must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be bilingual in English and French. Parliamentary Guides provide tours in Canada’s two official languages, so applicants must be able to speak both fluently.
  • Be considered a full-time student at an accredited, Canadian, university for the current or upcoming school year.
  • Be able to work a variable schedule up to 7 days per week and up to 70 hours per pay period including weekends and statutory holidays.
