Achieving success in math-intensive courses depends on developing a solid grasp of core concepts and the capacity to transfer that knowledge to new problems.  Explore strategies to improve your study habits and problem-solving effectiveness.

First, watch the Study Strategies for Problem-solving courses video

The video covers:

·         how to equip yourself with effective study strategies tailored specifically for math and problem-solving courses.

·         what it takes to learn in math and problem-solving courses

·         insights into common pitfalls and how to avoid them

·         proven techniques for tackling complex math problems

·         how to effectively organize your study sessions

Then, if you have questions, attend the workshop session to get answers from our Math Learning Specialist and hear from other students.

Open to undergraduate and graduate students.
