What does youth engagement look like in practice? How do young people and adults with different skillsets and roles work together to make decisions, build culture, and support meaningful involvement?

In this interactive fishbowl conversation, the Press Start Coop youth team, mentors and mentees from the Art and Social Transformation mentorship (formerly PSEI) and coordinators will share their experiences and approaches to youth engagement. Guided by framing questions, the discussion will highlight both the strengths and challenges of different models. Concordia staff, faculty, and students are invited to listen, learn, and enter the conversation to share their own perspectives.

Facilitated by Michelle Duchesneau, this event is led by Press Start Coop, and supported by the Office of Community Engagement and the Youth Engagement Office. The conversation will be facilitated mainly in English.

The event will be held at the SHIFT Centre in Concordia's LB Building at 1400 De Maisonneuve West. Metro Guy-Concordia. If you have never been to SHIFT Centre, watch this short wayfinding video!
