How should we understand the experience of the body, in pain or in well being? What experiences of sickness and health have fallen from view? This discussion invites research across diverse communities and practices around the following topics: pain and pain management; stress and stress management; health in the workplace; mental health; therapeutic interventions and alternative forms of care. How is care experienced, for example, by the elderly, youth, members of 2SLGBTQ+ communities, or those living with mental illness or other chronic conditions?

This event is part of a series of 5 public conversations between January – May, 2022 to identify potential curriculum and research clusters that will form part of the Community Health Hub of Concordia’s new School of Health.

Participate in the discussion by registering for the Zoom meeting or watching live on our YouTube channel.
