On the morning of April 12th, Design for the Theatre students will inhabit the entirety of 4th Space to present the culmination of their semester-long investigation into Sustainable Design Practices. These individual projects are as varied as they are exciting, each of them representing the students’ unique explorations in materiality and the many manifestations of sustainable practices.

Please join us to view the final outcomes of student-initiated research and design, walk around and enjoy encountering the body of work throughout the space. Each project is an inspired, individual, and imaginative journey of discovery into the endless possibilities of sustainable making. From upcycling to innovative processes and untrodden material experimentation this body of work has something to inspire us all. Each project began with a spark, the initial inspiration derived from sustainable initiatives. These sparks guided the students throughout their process of dreaming, conceptualizing, and creating which ultimately led to physical manifestation. We welcome you in celebrating this exciting moment with us, the realization of design.

This project is entirely student-led and driven.

How can you participate? Drop in between 10 am and 12pm to explore student projects or attend for a live walk through of projects online via Zoom or YouTube.
