Are you balancing the demands of your job while caring for an aging parent or an ill family member?

Caregiving often falls on the shoulders of women and can be a stressful and lonely time. But you are not alone as 1 in 4 Canadians is an informal caregiver.

In this webinar lead by Cynthia Iorio, BComm 04, GrDip 10, you’ll come away with:

  • Tools for balancing work and caregiving without guilt;
  • Tips for accessing community resources;
  • Insights from our speaker who cared for both of her parents, each with a terminal illness.

As well as managing Monarque Solutions — an organization aimed at helping employers optimize productivity and retention and mitigate burnout risk for a specific segment of their workforce: working caregivers — Cynthia is also a Certified Project and Program Management Professional with over 20 years experience working in tech, media and aerospace and is the host of the Love Transform Evolve, a podcast that explores the experience of what it means to care.

Cynthia's life has been shaped by what she calls the privilege of caring for both her parents each with a terminal illness and is dedicated to changing the narrative around informal caregiving.
