FFAR Out! How Keywords Shape Art is a 3-hour pop-up exhibition and celebration of works-in-progress from FFAR 250 students.

It will take place on April 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the EV Junction.

FFAR 250 is a year-long, ~900-person undergraduate course in interdisciplinary arts that puts students across FoFA departments into conversation and collaboration, including design + computation, studio arts, dance, cinema, art education, art history, theatre, music, and creative arts therapy.

This year, students have been building intellectual and artistic work around a series of keywords, including engaging, critiquing, working, archive, care, home, education, nature, failure, magic, time, sense(s), the future, emotion, and community.

The focus for the pop-up exhibition is on process rather than product, and, in line with the keywords above, students volunteering to exhibit are encouraged to bring their work as-is — this is a chance to celebrate, embrace, and participate in creativity, imperfection, spontaneity, and community.
