The Department of Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics's German Program presents Prof Karin Bauer (McGill University).

Prof Bauer will talk about the German terrorist group Red Army Faction (Rote Armee Fraktion or RAF) in the 70s to the 90s with a particular focus on Ulrike Meinhof journalist, far-left terrorist, and co-founder of the RAF. Arrested in 1972, charged with murders and the formation of a criminal association.
