Visées grant for
professional development
The following courses are eligible for the Visées grant, which helps employers finance their employees’ professional development. The grant reimburses up to $8,000 per employee, covering course fees and up to 50 per cent of their salary during training.
Eligible courses
AI Foundations
In this course, you’ll cover the basics while also learning the differences between AI systems, from smartphone apps to Artificial General Intelligence.
Format: Live, online course
Course length: 3 hours per week for 10 weeks
Outcome: Learn the possibilities and limitations of AI and determine the requirements for a successful AI project.
Cybersecurity Solutions
In this course, you’ll develop strategies to help you mitigate vulnerabilities within your organization and gain the skills needed to implement viable solutions.
Format: Live, online course
Course length: 3 hours per week for 10 weeks
Outcome: Learn how to respond to online threats quickly and effectively.
Cybersecurity Threats and Vulnerabilities
Your organization is vulnerable to cybersecurity threats as we speak. In this course, you’ll learn what these look like and how to plan a strong defense against them.
Format: Live, online course
Course length: 3 hours per week for 10 weeks
Outcome: Recognize cybersecurity threats and develop safeguards against them.

In this course, you'll build a step-by-step plan to solve your own business challenge using AI and get guided support from AI leaders at Canada’s most innovative institutions.
Format: Hybrid
Course length: 4 hours per week for 8 weeks
Outcome: Create a custom AI adoption plan for your business and put it into action.
