In general, my research focuses on the development and trajectories of infants and children at low and high risk for developmental problems and psychopathology, and on infant development (typical and at-risk). Specifically, the following variables are examined in several normative and at-risk populations: emotional, social, and behavioural development, including emotional, social, and behavioural competence; parenting, parent-child relationships, and quality of parent-child interactions; and developmental and health outcomes, including such outcomes as academic success and mental health. One prospective, longitudinal and intergenerational at-risk sample is the Concordia Longitudinal Research Project.
