JOIN THE LAB

Prospective students

Applications to the Research and Clinical Training Option or Research Option of the graduate programs in Psychology are welcomed.

Overview of Concordia's graduate programs in Psychology

Our lab is currently full and therefore, we are not taking any volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please reach out in August.

Additionally, Dr. Stack has already chosen her thesis students for the 2024-2025 school year. She will be reviewing thesis applications for the 2025-2026 school year in Winter 2025.

Prospective undergraduate students seeking a supervisor for Honours, Specialization or PSYC400 projects, as well as those seeking volunteer experience are encouraged to apply. You will be expected to attend regular lab meetings and to contribute to ongoing research projects. Volunteers assist with a wide range of tasks including literature reviews and searches, involvement in video coding projects, data entry and checking, formatting questionnaires on Qualtrics (an online survey platform), locating articles, cleaning SPSS and Mplus data, video transcriptions, translating measures, among many other things. Volunteers in the lab fulfill many integral roles. They are encouraged to voice their questions, thoughts and opinions, and are valued members of our team.

Training is an important part of the research and will be provided. Ideally, students beginning research experiences (thesis or research projects) will be available as part-time volunteers in the preceding semester(s).

Undergraduate students interested in joining the lab should send an email to Dr. Dale Stack (dale.stack@concordia.ca) and cc the lab coordinators (stack.laboratory@concordia.ca) including a current transcript, CV, and a brief statement of interest.
