Studying sustainability helps us understand how environmental, social, and economic systems are interconnected and how our choices shape the future.

At the College, our courses in sustainability equip students with the knowledge and skills to address complex global challenges and build more resilient, equitable communities.

Minor in sustainability studies

This 27-credit minor program will introduce you to the concept and practice of sustainability through a selection of hand-picked courses from a multitude of disciplines across the University. 

Microprogram in sustainability principles

This 15-credit microprogram is designed to provide sustainability literacy as a standalone learning experience for those who may or may not have prior studies or degrees. Through a cross-disciplinary cluster of carefully designed online and in-person courses, students will learn to think deeply about societal issues and provide solutions from a sustainability perspective.

Elective group in sustainability studies

This 15-credit program is ideal for students who don’t have room for a Minor but want to focus their electives around Sustainability.
