In an increasingly globalized world, one of the greatest challenges we face is learning how to live and work together across our differences. Montreal is the perfect place for diversity studies, given its residents include people from more than 150 countries around the world.

Minor in Diversity and the Contemporary World

The minor is a great choice for anyone whose career path involves working with people including the fields of law, psychology, medicine, education, business, and human resource management, to name just a few.

You’ll learn not only about various problems that can arise because of diversity, but also how diversity can be a source of strength to promote equity and social justice both locally and globally.

Elective group in equity, diversity & inclusion

This elective group is a 15-credit program that provides a strong foundation in the core concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion. As these issues become increasingly central to our success as a society, this program offers valuable knowledge that complements any degree.
